Understanding Your Credit Scores

Keep an Eye on Those Credit Scores

Understanding Credit Scores

Credit scores are numeric scores assign to you from gathering credit information from your credit score.  Each credit bureau assigns a different score for you because they have varying credit information on the credit report which they are maintaining on you.

Credit Scores are sometimes referred to as Beacon Scores and FICO Scores.   FICO stands for Fair Isaac Corporation.  And although there are many names for credit scores, you should learn about and understand the FICO score.  I believe that the FICO score is used most often by creditors to evaluate your credit worthiness.
