Below is a list of ten ways to achieve financial 
freedom.  
  
1.  Learn what is financial freedom

Having financial freedom means different things
to different people. 

For example for low income people having 
financial freedom is having just enough money 
to cover their basic living expenses from month
to month, owning their house (free and clear) and 
having a savings at their local bank

For other income status the below example may
not apply. Some income level people think they
need a lot more money than they have in order to
gain financial freedom

 3. Get Your Debt Under Control

Getting your debt under control is to do a debt management plan that can help you with reducing your debt in a timely way. Read about debt management plan here.

 4.  Learn the difference in Good Debt and Bad Debt

Understanding when a debt is consider a bad debt or a bad debt is very crucial to becoming financial freedom. Good debt helps you gain financial freedom because the debt is an assets instead of a liability.  It is an asset because it appreciates over time. 

 5.  Learn how to pay off your debt

Coming up with ways to pay off your debt is a very good way of getting financial freedom. There are so many ways to do it.

 6.  Use credit wisely  

Do not use credit if possible but if you have to only use credit use it only if you can pay the balance off in full each month.

 7.  Become Frugal

Being frugal is not being stingy.  It is never a good thing to be stingy, but you should really watch what you buy.  Consider buying things that you really need and then,  Start a one dollar a day savings challenge. 

 8.  Spend less Save More

Taking control over your spending habits should be a top priority in your life.  You can control your excessive speding by:

  • Opening up a savings account at your bank
  • Making daily, weekly or monthly deposit into your bank
  • Create a monthly budget by using the budgeting envelope system
  • Take a small amount of cash with you when you go shopping
  • Don't use your bank card when going shopping but rather get a prepaid card and load it with a small amount of money and use it when you go shopping
  • Shop less
  • Drive less
  • Drink less
  • Eat less


 9.  Explore things to make your money grow and do the research to implement it

There are many things you can do to gain a financial return on your money and they are:

  • Putting your money into a saving account
  • Getting Certificate of Deposits (CD's)
  • Start investing your money

          If you are going to start investing your money make sure you do your research first to see what                 investment option will be right for you.

10.Get Financially Literate

Becoming financially literate as you know is very crucial for your financial life. Acquire the basic financial literacy education, continue to expand that knowledge for the rest of your life and you will always have financial freedom.
