How to Save Money On Groceries

Remember when you could go to the grocery store and spend just $25 and you could buy enough food to last you a week.  Well those days are so far behind us.  No matter what you buy at a grocery store now, its going to cause you a lot of money.  I don't think there's one item on the shelves at the store that
is price reasonable. So since there's no getting around the high prices you must devise another plan
to help you cut grocery cost.

Grocery Store Saving Plan

 1) Create meal plan

A meal plan is simply a menu of the food you will
      cook.

 2) Consider this before making a menu

Does this menu consist of ingredients that you

  • Will only use once or twice and will have a large
        amount left over?

  • Only have to use a small amount of it and the rest will have to be thrown out?

  • Can be use for a long time
.
  • Can be used with most of your meals.

  • Can buy on sale.

 3) Make a shopping list

From that meal plan you should make a grocery list. Making a grocery list before going grocery
shopping can cause you a lot of money and time.

 4)  Make a list of any ingredient you will need for each meal.

 5)  Check to see if you already have any of the ingredients in your home

 6)  Make the grocery list only of the ingredients that you don’t have in your home.

 7)  Don’t buy any items that's not on your grocery list

 8)  Collect as many coupons as possible of the items you will buy

 9) Compare Grocery Store Prices

10) Shop once a month instead of every week

Shopping once a month can save you both time and gas money.  Plus you will be forced to eat              what's already in  your kitchen
