Insurance Companies

What Do Insurance Companies Do

Insurance Companies are companies that issue
insurance coverage to consumers.

Here's how insurance companies work.

Insurance companies offers a certain insurance to
to potential clients.

They usually use a licensed insurance agent to do
this for them.

If a client needs insurance all they have to do is
pay a premium to the insurance company  for a
particular insurance.

The company will then issue the client a policy. The policy is the insurance contract and in it you will find everything that you are being protected against.

When the client has a loss all they have to do is file a claim to the insurance company that issued the
policy and the company will compensate the client according to the terms of the contract which is located on the policy.  And that's it.  That's what insurance companies do.

Type of insurance Companies

Although I know there are many types of companies I will only mention 4

  • Life Insurance Companies

  • Health Insurance Companies

  • Automobile Insurance Companies

  • Home Owners Insurance Companies

Please note   Some insurance companies offers many types of policies so just because they are listed as a life insurance company doesn't necessarily means that they don't offer health insurance or some other kind of insurance.  In order to find out what coverage a particular company offers, you should ask the company.
