Are you in the market for a job?  If you are there are some things you need to know or you can find yourself spending way too much money while job hunting. 

1.  First thing you should know is that it can be very costly 
      to start a job search.  

2.  Second thing you should know and that is there are ways 
      to reduce that cost.

3.  Third thing you should know is that some job search 
      expenses are tax deductible.

Job Hunting Expenses

The following is what you will spend money on while seeking
 a job

  • Resume writing such as paper for resume and 
          printing cost.
 
  • Online Job Searches 
          If you don’t already have internet connection you will need to get it in order to do any online job searches              from home.
  
  • Travel Expenses such as autobile gasoline you will need to go to Employment Services and Job Interviews

Ways to Reduce the Cost  Of Job Hunting Expenses

  • Use public libraries instead of getting internet services installed at your home

  • Use your state employment office 
 
  • Use public transportation instead of using your personal car or a cab (taxi)


Using Job Expenses As a Tax Deduction

Yes its true, you can deduct some of your job hunting  expenses  on your federal income taxes. But you must go
to the IRS.Gov website to get full details.  Although I believe I know how it works, I will not give you any information about this because I don’t want to be held responsible for giving you the wrong information about
