You've now reached part 3 of Step 2 - Evaluating Your Money Personalities

On the previous page you got an opportunity to look at which money personality you are. 

In order to go forward with this money tutorial take 
out a little time and do the following exercise.


Do this Money Exercise

Step One

Take a look at all three personalities.  Which one are
you.?


Step Two

Examine yourself very closely and be truthful 
to yourself because you need to understand 
yourself when it comes to how you handle your money.  

Remember you are aiming at keeping more of your money and you need to do this exercise to start a 
fresh money keeping  journey.


Step Three

Write down which one you are


Step Four 

Learn why You have the attitude you have toward money by examining the things below


Things that might motivates you to be a Spender

It could possibly be due to:

  • Environment control
  • Family Issues
  • Upbringing or background
  • Lack of financial education 
  • Lack of money management skills
  • Impulsiveness
  • Do not have a financial plan
  • Do not follow a budget
  • Lack of understanding the value of money 
  • Enjoy buying things
  • Do not want to save
  • Never thought about it  
  • Didn't think you had enough money to save


What motivates you to be a Spender and a Saver

Here’s some possibly reasons

  • Enviroment
  • Non-Impulsiveness
  • Family History or Upbringing
  • Have basic money management skills
  • Is somewhat financial literate
  • Follows some kind of financial plan
  • Have a budget
  • Enjoys both spending and saving
  • Is looking out for the future
  • Past financial crisis
  • Religious reason
  • and many more


Lastly, what motivates you to be all three

Many things could possible be the reason why you chooses to spend some of your money, save a little of your money and invest some too.

  • Enviroment
  • Enjoy both spending, saving and investing
  • Is looking out for the future
  • Past Experiences
  • Learned money management skills while you were long
  • Married an individual that is all three
  • Is very financially educated
  • Has a financial plan and follow it
  • Has a budget and follows it
  • and many more
  • Understand the financial aspect of things
  • Know basic investment information
  • Looking out for retirement


Step Five:  

Write down which one of the above things you think contributes to how to you handle money.
