Do Money Questions

Congratulations!  You're now on part 4 of learning why you handle money the way you do. You are doing great.

The following is another way to learn about your money behaviors.

Answers these question first.  Answering these question can give you a better insight into why you really handle money the way you do.

Your childhood relation with money

1)  What did you think of money?

2)  What was the single reason you ever asked for
money?

3)  Was money discussed in your home?  Was the
conversation positive or negative?

4)  Did anyone ever discuss money management
with you?

5)  Did anyone ever tell you about having a
networth, liabilities or assets?

6)   Were your parent(s ) or guardian(s) on a budget?

7)  Do you know whether your parent(s) or guardian(s) used their money properly/

8)  Was money management discussed in your school?

My Adult Life Now

1)  What do you think of money now?

2)  Do you spend and not save

3)  When was the last time you saved money

4)  Why do you want to make money?

5)  Do you have a financial plan?

6)  Do you follow a monthly budget?

7)  Are you looking out for the future?

Now please don't think I'm trying to evaluate your money behavior because I'm not. But I do want you to evaluate your own financial behavior.  I believe from personal experience that once you began to evaluate your own behavior toward money, you can then change it for the better.

Am I an Expert on The Subject of Money Personalities?

I don’t want you to think that I'm an expert in the area of emotional behaviors because I'm not.  Well I do have a BS Degree in Psychology if that count. (lol)  Although I love doing research on why people behave the way they do when it comes to their financial life, I'm not making any references to what I found.

All of these suggestion comes from  my own personal experiences and discussing money with many people over a long period of time. While doing so, I discovered that there are many reasons why people behave differently toward money.

What Next you may be asking.  Since you now know your attitude toward money and possibly where it
came from, you can now take the next step to keeping more of your money.  That is the focus isn't it.
You are trying to learn how to keep more of your money right.  Well hang in there with me and let me
take you step by step into accomplishing it.
