Learning How to Keep More Money

My Discovery

I use to be a part of the group of individuals that wanted to keep more money but I didn't have a clue as to how to do it. Read my story.

I have invested many hours of studying financial

subjects. Every opportunity I got I would

investigate and explore ways as to how to improve

my personal finances.

While doing all that I discover something amazing

about me.

What I Discovered

1) I was financially illiterate.

I know using the term illiterate is a strong word but

as far I'm concern I really lacked financial

knowledge in in almost every areas of my life when

it came to money matters.

2) I needed to become financially education.

Although I had graduated from college, I need an additional education and that was financial education.

3) I didn’t need a better paying job nor more money.

I thought the reason why I didn't have enough money was because I needed a better paying job or I just needed to find a way to get more money. As a result of that I started many small business believing that I could solve my financial problem that way. However it never worked.

4) I needed to learn how to keep the money I was getting.

It's very sad when you take 4 years out of your life, gain an education, get a job and never learn how to keep the money once you make it. That's exactly what happened to me. I made it and spent all of it. Never having enough money.

5) I needed to understand how to keep small amounts of money before I start handling large sums of money.

I thought because I didn't make a six income, I shouldn't worry about tracking my money or budgeting my money. I thought that budgets were for the wealthy. But I quickly learned that money is money no matter what amount it is and that if I were to ever have any money I was going to have to start with the money I was getting.

7) I learned that if I want to keep more money I must understanding the following things.

Money management

Budgeting

How to use Credit wisely

How to deal with Debt

How save money when buying Insurance

How to avoid Banking fees and charges

How to bring home more of your Income

How to save money when you pay Taxes on anything.

How to save money when Shopping for anything

How get a good Mortgage that won't break you

All of those things are around to take a lot of your money. But they don't have to. I have learned

many ways that can help you keep more of your money when it comes to those things.

8) Lastly I learned that I needed to implement keeping more money in my pocket

All the above things that I discovered about myself would have been useless if I never started implementing them. So I started a journey of keeping more of my money by always referencing what I learned.
