Since this tutorial is about keeping more money I will address the topic of paying your credit card.
So many people really don't know how to pay their
credit card.
They only know how to write a check and send in
the payment that's on the statement.
But doing only that can really be causing you more
some extra money.

Phase 1:
12 Things You Should Do Before You
Pay Your Credit Card Bills
1) Keep all purchase receipts
2) As soon as you receive your credit card bill open it.
3) Check your credit card bill statement for errors
4) Get in the habit of disputing any charges on your bill
5) Use your purchase receipts to verify your credit card charges
6) Get in the habit of disputing your balance
7) Check your balance. Make sure your balance is accurate.
8) Check statement to see that your last payment was credited to your account
9) Use a calculator when checking your statement
10) Make sure your interest rate didn't increase
11) Make sure you have no added fees
12) Watch the due date on your bill. Make sure it hasn't change since your last bill.
Phase II
Figure Out How Much To Pay On Your Bill
Most people just pay what the statement ask for. Most bills will ask for a minimum balance payment. If that's all you got pay at least that amount never pay less than it. If you pay less you will can be charge with a late fee.
1) Pay at least the minimum balance or
2 ) Pay more than the minimum balance. Try to add some extra money to the minimum balance each month. It would be nice if you could pay the balance in full each time you use your credit card.
Phase III
Safeguard Your Payments
1) Mail the payment 7 business days before due date
2) If you pay in the store, pay at least 2 days before due date
3) If you pay online, pay at 2 days before due. It might take that long for your payment to post.
