Step 2: Evaluate Your Attitude Toward Money

To start you on a good journey of keeping more of your money, I must help you understand the emotional side of money and your attitude toward money.
What's Your Attitude Toward Money?
Just look around and you can easily see that there
are three kinds of people when it comes to money.
Just think about it.
Everybody you know including yourself are either a:
1) Spender or a
2) Saver and Spender or
3) Spender, Saver and Investor
Do this exercise to evaluate your own behavior toward money
1) Take a sheet of money
2) Write down each one of those traits
3) Try to define each one
4) Try to use examples of each one
5) Beside each trait, tell whether you are that of not. Tell why you think you are either one.
6) Then take a look at what you wrote about each trait.
What did you notice?
Are you more of a spender, a saver or both?
Are you a spender, a saver and an investor or all three?
Write down which one you think you are.
Purpose of this money exercise
Doing the above exercise will help you see where you stand financially. You can now identify what areas of your financial life you need to improve.
