What Do Insurance Agents Do?
Here's a list of things insurance agents do
1) They all have some kind of insurance license by the state they write the insurance in.
2) They can't just write any insurance. They must be license in that field of insurance in order to
write a particular insurance. For example an insurance that writes a life insurance policy must have a life insurance license to do so. But he will not be able to write an automobile policy unless he is license in that field as well.
3) Must take continuing education classes every year
4) Sometimes They visits clients home
5) Explains policy to customers
6) Some are employees and get paid a hourly wage, salary and commission
7) Some are independent agents and work for themselves and get paid commission.
8) They are consider financial experts
9) Some markets and sells financial products
